How to cure a dry face and Body

Dry skin on the face and body is a common skin care problem. Dry skin can be itchy, unsightly and even painful. No matter how many expensive moisturizers you try, dry skin may seem impossible to cure. That is because moisturizer, although important, is not always the answer to dry skin. There are many factors that cause skin to become dry, and it is important to protect the skin from these harmful factors and to maintain a moisturizing skin care routine.

Instructions:
  1. Wear sunscreen and protective gear when you are in the sun. Sun can be very drying to the skin. Protect skin by wearing a moisturizing sunscreen with at least an SPF 15. Not only will this combat the dry skin that you already have, but it will help prevent skin from becoming drier. Double up on your protection from the sun by wearing a sun hat or using an umbrella when in the sun for long periods of time.
  2. Bathe and shower in lukewarm water. Hot water is very drying to skin. If you must take a hot bath, add moisturizing bath oils to the water.
  3.  Use moisturizing soap or a cleansing cream when bathing or showering. Soap is drying to the skin and can be irritating. A moisturizing soap or cleansing cream will restore skin's moisture.
  4. Drink plenty of water. Water hydrates the entire body, including the skin. Drinking water will keep skin moisturized and help cure your dry skin from the inside out.
  5. Moisturize skin in the morning and in the evening. If skin is extremely dry, use a thick, oil-based moisturizer. If the skin is only moderately, dry use a lighter moisturizer. This will allow healthy new skin cells to grow and replace old dead ones.
  6. Exfoliate the skin with an exfoliating face scrub weekly. Exfoliation removes dry dead skin cells and allows new ones to grow in their place.

Manao back in Susmita's life

The year was 2006, Sushmita Sen was dating Manav Menon, the ad film maker. It was no secret. It was a fairy tale love story – with a small glitch.
Manav could not really understand why Sushmita was keeping in touch with all her old boyfriends. Adding to the troubles was Renee, Susmita's daughter who did not get along well with Manav. Even though the chemistry between Sushmita and Manav led to speculations that marriage may be on cards, they broke up.
So, why are we bringing this up all over again? Well, here is the latest. Sush has been seen with Manav; and that too very often. The Times Of India quotes "Manav is suddenly back in Sush's life, although one is not sure if he is just there as a friend, or more."
The source also adds that Manav has gone out of his way to make up with Renee and the two share a good friendship. Is this an indication that Manav wants to make it work with Sushmita this time around?
Let's wait and see what happens.

All India CBSE Topper (Drvyansh Sharma) is an SRK fan

Drvyansh Sharma, the all India CBSE topper in the class XII boards, is a small town boy, with great aspirations. Sharma who studied at Delhi Public School (DPS) Ghaziabad has scored an aggregate of 98.6 per cent. "I was just surprised when my school told me that I have topped the country," said Drvyansh. With a modest family background, all the celebrations and attention has left him a little jaded.

"My parents were just in disbelief. All my relatives and friends were elated. Nobody had expected that I would reach the pinnacle," added Drvyansh. An avid SRK fan, Drvyansh points out that his favourite star was also a small screen actor, but he made it to the top and has stayed there for decades. When asked about his success mantra, Drvyansh said, "Focus on whatever you do and you will achieve success."

Though his ambition is to become a computer engineer, Drvyansh enjoys reading novels, partying on and off and playing badminton. Among the people who are celebrating his success, he thinks his girlfriend is the happiest, though she didn't do as well him. Drvyansh's father is a civil engineer in Agra, while his mother is a homemaker.

Urmi Uppal, who secured the highest percentage in CBSE 12th board exams from the Capital, says her ambition is to become an investment banker.

Urmi says she was more shocked than elated on receiving a call from her brother while she was out yesterday when CBSE declared the results of class XII board exams. She was told she had got the highest overall percentage of marks, not only in her school, DPS Mathura Road, but also in the Capital.

Always aspiring to be a businesswoman, Urmi says she had no idea what Monday had in store for her. Having hit 97.6 per cent she has stood out in the results from the commerce stream. After all, scoring a 100 in Mathematics, 98 in Accounts and Business Studies, 97 in Economics and 95 in English is no mean feat.

"I never expected I will make it to the top. Honestly, when my brother gave me the news, I snapped at him for pulling my leg. I really still can't believe it," said Urmi. Though a Commerce student, she always wanted to take up Science as she believed in the cliché that all good students move into that stream. Later, she realised, that she wanted to become an investment banker. With the idea of doing an MBA, she took up Commerce. She had also topped her class in the class X boards.

Urmi says she has no plans of leaving Delhi; her immediate aim is to secure a seat in either of the Capital's two best colleges - St Stephen's and Sri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC).

For Sunil Uppal, her father, a Chartered Accountant by profession, it is a dream come true. "She has always been a focused and brilliant student. But I didn't expect she would do so well. It came to us as a pleasant surprise," he said.

Apart from studies, Uppal debates, loves partying and follows music and movies. "Aamir Khan is my favourite actor. He is really hot and makes meaningful cinema. I am a big fan of Beatles and Eric Clapton," she said. Among movies she is loves Hangover and the Pursuit of Happyness.

Aditya Grover, the CBSE class XII Science stream topper in the Capital, has seen it all before. But his excitement was palpable. "I can't believe I got lucky for a second time," said Aditya. He came to know about his achievement only after a call from his school. Aditya has scored 97.4 per cent overall with 99 in both Maths and Computer Science, 98 in Physics, 96 in Chemistry and 95 in English.

A proud VK Grover, his father, who is an automobile engineer in a leading MNC, couldn't hide his joy. "We always knew he was good at studies, but we had never thought he would do so well," he said. Aditya's mother, a homemaker and an M Phil in Economics, was busy answering calls for congratulations. "Aditya has made us proud once again. We want him to study and work in India only," she said. Being asked how he managed to study so hard, Aditya told us that he had not watched Television or movies for two years. "I like movies and love playing table tennis and swimming. I knew I will have ample time to do all of it, so I had kept these two years only for my studies," he said.

Aditya, who wants to crack the IITs this year, has had no time for love or a girlfriend. Both he and his parents want him to become a Computer Engineer and contribute something towards building his country.

Kids of Bollywood Starzzz

Much bigger stars than our Bollywood celebs are their kids who are the top priorities. Those that are followed by millions, follow their little tots at home.
Here are those kids who are the centre of the universe for their B-Town parents.

Aryan and Suhana Khan
SRK's two kids are as enthusiastic and passionate as their father. While Aryan is known as a tech buff, Suhana is reported to be quite a diva already. They are both mastering the art of Taekwondo with both parents taking active interest in all their other activities too. Shah Rukh does not let his superstar status fall ahead of his kids and he he is always seen trying his level best to be the perfect father.

Aarav Bhatia
Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna's only son is pampered by his family a lot. Apparently Aarav wants to become a drummer and have his own rock band when he grows up. Junior Akki has even won the Green Globe Award for Outstanding Contribution by a Child. He was apparently the youngest person to have sponsored a village under the "Light a Billion Lives" campaign.

Nysa Devgn
Little Miss Devgn, all of 8, apparently, is not very fond of cameras as her parents are as she was seen in a grumpy mood recently, when photographers were snapping her pictures. According to mommy Kajol, Nysa is an even better actress than her. That, coming from such a heavyweight of acting, is a sure sign that this daughter will step into her mother's shoes very well.

Arhaan Khan
Arhaan is the son of Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora and is 8 years old. He is the apple of everyone's eye in the Khan household which includes uncle Salman Khan. According to mom Malaika, "Arhaan is the best thing that happened to me" and it was Arhaan who helped saved her marriage to Arbaaz which proves that he is the ultimate priority for both parents

Sara and Ibrahim Ali Khan
The two are the kids of Saif Ali Khan and ex-wife, Amrita Singh. Saif and Amrita, who split in 2004, however, make sure that their separation does not make a difference in their kids' life. Sara and Ibrahim stay with Amrita and her family but spend ample time with daddy, Saif.

Myra and Mahikaa Rampal
Myra and Mahikaa, aged 6 and 9, are the beloved daughters of Arjun and Mehr Rampal. The two girls lead very normal lives thanks to their parents, who do not want to join the bandwagon of other parents who want their kids to excel in everything. Myra and Mahikaa even turned budding musicians after seeing their father's fantastic performance on the movie 'Rock On'.

Samaira Kapur
Samaira Kapur is the daughter of one time No.1 actress Karisma Kapur and Sanjay Kapur. After her birth, her parents' marriage turned bitter and led to a nasty court battle for divorce and custody of Samaira who was a newborn then. However, the issue is settled now and the family leads a happy life after the arrival of Kiaan Raj Kapur, Karisma and Sanjay's son.

Renee Sen
Sushmita Sen brought Renee home in the year 2000 and her little sibling, Alisah in 2010. Having one of the coolest moms, is probably the best thing Renee could have ever asked for. Sushmita Sen dotes on her daughters and everything takes a backseat for her when her daughters need her.
Renee is an extremely intelligent girl and has traits similar to her mom as stated by Sush's mother.

Hrehaan and Hridhaan Roshan
When not playing intense roles on screen, Hrithik is busy with his two sons, Hrehaan and Hridhaan. The sons have inherited their parents' good looks and extreme good manners as well. The two tiny Roshans are the centre of the world for Susanne and Hrithik and also capture the fancy of their parents' admirers.
