Sport cars for racing 2010 Design

Sometimes it happens that you come across a vehicle which is good to avoid or forgotten. Similar is the case with me. I came across this vehicle concept on Productdesignform, and just drooled over it, and I am sure any auto enthusiast will. Submitted by the forum member named ‘Skakos’ as an entry for the 2010 Michelin challenge design, this racer flaunts eye catching design and wide body that puts it in the sports car category. Dubbed the Deltoid design Dd20-19, this futuristic sports car is designed for the year 2021. The concept, as per the designer, answers the preferences, lifestyle and transportation needs for the population in the year 2021. However, apart from awesome design will its wide body be good enough to run on futuristic roads where there will be more traffic and comparatively less space?

Mooovie Zero Emissions Personal Vehicle Goes Everywhere

If you took the coolness of a transformer and put it into a practical setting, you’d probably get a concept much like the Mooovie, a zero emission personal vehicle. The Mooovie actually has 2 personal driving modes, one is sort of like a Segway Scooter (minus the balance controls I think you’re looking at something a little more traditional) which is a two wheeled mode allowing you to navigate narrow streets or move through traffic jams.

Driving mode number two would be a three wheeler for more mainstream driving like the highway or for just all around high speed fun. Apparently the second mode is optional, although what would be the point of a futuristic personal transportational vehicle without a cool transformation!? Mooovie, as you might have already guessed, will also be Internet ready (just about anything needs to be these days) allowing the user to share messages with other drivers (more options to text? really?). Of course you would need some fancy motorcycle gear like this Reevu Motorcycle Helmet. You could also keep your Hornet superbike as a backup in case your Mooovie is in the shop.

MINI Scooter E Concepts - First Official Photos

Just after Smart published the first real life pictures of its 'escooter' study, MINI went ahead and released official photos of its take on the pure electric scooter concept. To be precise, the BMW Group owned maker will display three individually colored and trimmed versions of its lithium-ion battery-powered scooter study at next week's Paris Motor Show.

One of the Scooter E Concepts is themed after the MINI E electric car, the other is finished in a classic British Racing Green with a brown-colored leather seat and the last pays homage to the UK Mod subculture.

The MINI Scooter Es borrows some styling cues from the firm's automobile range including the headlamp and mirror designs.

Like Smart's scooter concept, the MINI models also utilize a smartphone that slots between the handlebars offering its service as a navigation system among other things.

More information on MINI's Scooter E concepts will be revealed at the Paris Auto Show.

Hydrogen-fueled Buell H2 motorcycle concept flaunts a sci-fi look

With traditional sources of energy facing a sheer decline in recent decades, vehicle designers have now started thinking seriously about the alternative fuels their concepts should rely on. Among options, there are wind, solar, thermal, hydrogen and the rest. Danish industrial designer Niels Grubak Iversen, however, places his money on the last alternative as he comes up with an interesting motorcycle concept that relies on a hydrogen-powered internal combustion engine for the much-needed driving force.

Dubbed as Buell H2, the advanced café racer takes biking to its next level, which is so very evident from a sci-fi-inspired styling. Mind you, the engine discussed-above betters the V2 HD engine beyond a measure.

2011 Venturi Fetish

Besides the Venturi America Concept, the French manufacturer also introduced a completely new Venturi Fetish at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. The new car is based on developments undertaken for Venturi's World Records program in Bonneville, with the Venturi "Jamais Contente", the fastest electric vehicle in the world. As a result, the new Venturi Fetish features a new rear spoiler black headlight trims, "Bonneville" colours and finishes recalling the decoration of the Venturi "Jamais Contente".

The new car carries a new generation of electric motors, dubbed VM300. This motor delivers 300 hp (+220 kW) and torque of 380 Nm, and promises to be the most advanced electric motor ever designed for a car. To obtain such a power, the car uses a new 54 kWh battery pack (LIV-10 Lithium Ion Polymer batteries) whose electronics (Battery Management System) have been entrusted to VENTEC.

With a total weight of just 1,225 kilos, the new Fetish can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4 seconds, and has a top speed of 124 mph or 200 km/h. Furthermore, the Venturi Fetish offers a range of up to 340 km. Venturi Fetish does not aim to be a mass-produced vehicle and a reason to sustain this is the price: 300,000 € + VAT plus a year of waiting in order to receive it.
